Advance Riot Gear is the leaner build — hardened riot torso, articulated shoulder and thigh plating worn under the long trail duster that turned a police uniform into the cover art of Fallout: New Vegas. Elite Riot Gear is what a veteran earns: thicker chest and abdominal plates, reinforced shoulders, a heavier belt rig, and the broad, top-heavy silhouette that photographs beautifully under hard desert light. In game it carries about the highest damage threshold you can wear without climbing into power armour; on a convention floor it simply reads as somebody who has already survived the worst of it.
