He came from Concordia, and his helmet carried the weight of a people who refused to disappear. The Aran Tal Helmet is the Mandalorian battle helmet of Aran Tal — a survivor of the Night of a Thousand Tears who stood with Bo-Katan Kryze's reformed covert in The Mandalorian Season 3.
Aran Tal Helmet: A Study in What Survives
Aran Tal's helmet keeps the classic covert T-visor, but the cheek plates carry the mismatched repair work of beskar that has been patched rather than replaced, and the crown sits lower and flatter than the Nite Owl profile Bo-Katan's officers wear. Nothing about it is ceremonial. It is a working helmet belonging to a warrior who spent the years after the Purge keeping his armour intact in places where wearing it openly would have been fatal — and it looks like it has been buried and dug up at least once.
