With a 2x scope, twelve semi-automatic rounds, and headshot lethality that embarrassed every rifle on Installation 04, it became the skill ceiling and the meta simultaneously. Bungie spent sequels dialing it back; the community spent decades asking for it back. Its blocky slide, integrated scope housing, and oversized UNSC proportions make it one of gaming's most recognizable sidearms.
