AT-AT Driver Helmet
AT-AT Driver Helmet
From inside a walking fortress, the battlefield looked very different. The distinctive olive-brown command helmet worn by Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport pilots during the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back.
AT-AT Driver Helmet: Commanding the Empire's Walking Fortresses
General Veers' AT-AT column marched on Echo Base under the command of pilots who guided their walkers from enclosed cockpits, impervious to most Rebel weapons and mechanically closing on the power generator that would end the battle. The AT-AT Driver Helmet reflected the vehicle-operator nature of the role — closer to a pilot's headgear than a soldier's — and its olive-brown color set it apart from every other helmet in the Imperial inventory.
